Sara moved to Scottsdale from New York with her husband after stints in Tokyo, Hong Kong, and Brooklyn. She had her share of building new communities, but something about Phoenix and its "garage door syndrome" inspired her to look for new ways of meeting dynamic, independent women. Through her friend and previous HD Shona Cerami, Sara stumbled across Chat Chew & Chocolate and the two of them knew that they'd found the perfect way to mix mingling with ME-TIME! Plus, as a life coach and mother, Sara believes in the importance of managing your energy and knows that the relaxed, friendly atmosphere that CCC creates is perfect for helping recharge the busy woman's batteries. 

Jo Ellen joined Sara earlier this year as co-HD of the Scottsdale chapter.  An all-around "sparkly" fun person that everybody gravitates towards, Jo Ellen recently finished the final rounds of chemotherapy & radiation for her breast cancer treatment.  She draws from a well of inner strength to maintain a graceful, honest approach to life through all of its challenges and has been an inspiration to our community.  Jo Ellen hails from Philadelphia by way of New Jersey, and moved to Arizona over five years ago.
