Although it wasn't my town, I felt I had to help, plus my car was real dusty The girl had never seen a $2 bill before (granted she was 13) but the look in her face was classic. -
Added by: Liz, at 08/24/2009 20:38:52This is a great idea and was fun to do! I first spent my $2 as a tip at a car wash. It was much appreciated. Next, I bought an espresso from Seattle Espresso...they thought the idea was cool! I then used a $2 bill to buy a health bar at Hi-Health. The employee thought it was a great idea and said he had just read about someone doing something similar.
Lastly, I used two of the $2 dollar bills to purchase a Buntlet from Nothing Bundt Cakes to give to the next birthday girl at the Ahwatukee Signature Event last Wednesday. Everyone liked this idea and appreciated Chat,Chew and Chocolate doing its share in stimulating our economy in our community! -
Added by: Ruby Rosener, at 08/14/2009 10:41:44I bought $1.00 ice cream cones at the local Water & Ice (Aspen Water & Ice) store with a $2 dollar bill and got all excited. I also bought a coffee at AJ's with the $2 bill and thought the idea was great.
