Our Mom-e Club question last month dealt with follow through and the methods you use. A general rule of thumb is to follow up within 48 business hours of meeting a person at an event.

Does this sound like you or could your follow through use a little help?

As mom-es, we spend a lot of time going to networking events or online using social media to establish connections with new faces. I know personally I can sit and talk to a complete stranger for hours, but if I never take the time to follow through after we've left, was all that time well spent?

Take the time to follow up with individuals, especially those that made an impact on you, after you've gotten the chance to meet them. Continue to build those relationships and I promise that what time you put in, will reap great rewards for your, and them, later.
