During the holiday season, getting dressed up for that big party or those family events can be stressful enough without having to worry about our own personal figure flaws. Every woman has her own personal figure hangs up. You feel like their body is special in all the wrong ways. Well you don't have to.

Below are a few simple tips to help any woman look and feel like her fabulous self every time and every where she goes.

Very Large or Very Small

Whether you are a plus size, or the polar opposite, where a size zero doesn't even fit you, scale and proportion are essential for you to create balanced outfits. This is not to say that the super small Silhouettes need to wear miniature prints like a child.

On either side of the spectrum, you don't want to go to the extremes. Extremely large prints or super tiny prints don't really work for anyone, so avoid those.

Look for prints that create a sense of proportion and balance to your body. If you are unsure about whether the outfit works for you, ask yourself objectively whether the print makes you look bigger or smaller.

If you can look objectively at your body and only focus on the pattern and the size of your frame, you will begin to notice when a pattern is too big, too small, or just right for you.

Tummy

The tummy issue is actually one of the easiest issues to fix - though you will have to overcome a mindset. It's a well kept secret that there are whole stores designed for you; they aren't only for maternity now!

That is what many maternity clothes are designed for - to conceal a larger tummy. (And yes, some maternity clothes are designed to show off a baby bump, so those are not the ones you want.) Maternity clothes will fit in the arm and shoulder, and give you ease in the middle.

Some women feel too embarrassed to walk into a maternity store or maternity department without actually being pregnant that they tell the sales associates they're shopping for a friend about their own size.

The sales associates don't want to embarrass you; they just want to help you. And can't you imagine how much they love a non-pregnant customer? You might actually return more than nine months later. And you won't be the first woman to appreciate them for being masters of disguise.

Big Bum

If you think you have a big bum and you prefer to minimize instead of maximize that feature, then stick to wide-legged pants and straight skirts. They will slim the look of your hips and bum as much as possible. If you don't really love skirts or dresses, then stick to pants. The long line of the pant does help minimize your bum.

REMEMBER!

No matter what size you are, or what little (or larger) flaw you think you have, if you take a little time to plan and prepare your wardrobe to match your life and your figure, you will look amazing! And you will look like the powerful, purposeful, and passionate businesswoman you really are.
