As the year quickly comes to an end and I reflect on all that has happened in 2011, I find myself incredibly appreciative for all that life has given me.

Here are just a few of the things I'm thankful for this holiday season.

My best friend, Gwen, became a partner in my event planning business Details Event Management. We complement each other so well, which as a mom, helps tremendously when you're trying to run multiple businesses and raise children simultaneously. It's all about delegation, right?

My vision to take The Mom-e Club national in five years happened in less than one year. We have chapters in Washington, California, will soon launch in Connecticut and possibly Georgia in early 2012. The Club is growing by leaps and bounds every month with more mom-es looking for support and encouragement. I also have an amazing group of chapter presidents that share my passion of helping women succeed.

My business, Simply Put Marketing Communications, which lost many of its clientele due to the economic downturn in 2008, has miraculously bounced back. I've been busier than ever obtaining new projects and working with past clients.

Aside from business triumphs, the one thing I am truly grateful for is my family.

On November 23, 2011, my family and I welcomed our baby girl, Ellie Maree Pelletier, into this world with enormous doses of hugs and kisses. She and my three-year old son Caleb are my whole world. I can't imagine life without them. They are the driving force behind my desire to be a work-at-home mom - to never miss a moment.

So many mom-es have asked me if now having two children will slow me from moving forward with my dreams. To that, I say a big fat "NO." If anything, it has propelled me forward, to continue to be the best person I can, and to show my children that you CAN have everything in life you want as long as you have faith and work for it. Going to work for someone else and achieve their dreams is not an option for me ... ever.

As you reflect on 2011, what are you grateful for? What do you dream of achieving in 2012 and beyond?

For me, the list is endless.
