As a busy, successful woman, do you even have time to date? When was the last time you did something special for yourself? Has date night with your husband been squeezed out by the "stuff" of life? Do you want to know how to create more time for love?

Unclench! Unclench means to let go, and let that which does not matter truly slide. I've talked a great deal about how to get more of what you want in life. Now, let's look at what you want less of. Our lives are filled with a lot of stuff. When we clean out what doesn't support us any more, there is more space for what we love.

What is draining your energy? When you release it, what wonderful thing could take its place or not take its place? It could just be a "Free Space" in your life, like in the game Monopoly. The alternative to the Free Space was jail. What or who in your life is shackling you?

What will you release? Let go of the stuff that gets in the way of love. Let go of any negative thoughts that block love. Let go of unhelpful expectations from other people. Let go of what is out of alignment with the authentic you. Release what drains your spirit. Go ahead, give your life an enema!

THE MORAL OF THE STORY IS ...

Unclench to create more room for love.

What would your life be like if you unclenched? Think of all the stuff that would fall off the to-do list and never make it on again. Imagine all the extra free time you would have ... for love. How many hours will you free up when you institute: let that which does not matter truly slide?

What are you ready to just throw in the hopper right now? And that is exactly what you are going to do. You are literally going to throw the stuff down the toilet. Now, I don't want to be responsible for the sewage backing up, so there is another way ...

You are going to have an Unclench Fire Ceremony. What exactly is it? It is a ceremony you perform over a fire to let go of what gets in the way of love. This is how it works. First, you will write down everything you want to release. Make a list of what shackles you what drains your energy. The list may include the following:

Negative beliefs that do not serve you; such as, I am 35 and it's too late to find "the one."

Struggles you have; such as, I always struggle with my weight.

An old fight with a friend.

An ex-boyfriend and all the baggage that goes with him.

Your fears.

Lingering emotions that hurt you.

Look at your list. Is there anything missing from the list? Is there anything you are resistant to let go of that you know you really need to release to move forward in love? Do you think it will hurt even more to let go? It may hurt like hell in the moment ... you will be healed on the other side. Trust yourself. Trust you are strong enough to set yourself free. Write it down. It is time.

Next, you will start a fire. Now, some of you may be thinking you need a seriously large fire pit with wide-open spaces. You have golf clubs, old t-shirts to singe. For now, please do a mini-burn of a list over a candle, so that you may immediately experience the exhilaration of unclenching. If you still need a bonfire later, make it a party! Rent a ranch, get your girlfriends together, bring large objects to combust, run around the fire naked in celebration whatever does it for you.

The final step to the ceremony is burn baby burn. Ignite that letting go list and any other items you choose. It is time to scorch that photo of "him." The magic happens naturally; you will automatically have more room for love to come in. There is no need to do any ceremonial chants, unless you are so moved.

My wish for you is to unclench. Really set an intention to let go. Unclench the clutter for your heart. You will create more space for love.
