Chef Nancy Banner of The Holistic Kitchen helps you learn about eating clean through an anti-inflammatory (synonymous with anti-aging) diet to manage and prevent disease.
At The Holistic Kitchen, Chef Nancy blends professional culinary training and a lifelong fascination with nutrition, to help you eat to beat disease and heal mind, body and spirit. Drawing upon others research, as well as her personal experience cooking for the critically ill, Chef Nancy is passionate about helping individuals eat an anti-inflammatory diet that lowers weight, the risk of disease, doctors' visits and the need for medications. Having cooked for cancer patients, as well as many clients who require complex dietary adjustments due to illness or food sensitivities, she began to see a pattern emerging. In all cases, inflammation was at the core and she believes the tenets of an anti-inflammatory diet equate to an anti-disease (and healthy aging) diet. Utilizing whole food with a rainbow of nutrition in her menus, Chef Nancy creates meals to enhance health and maximum quality of life with flavor profiles that go beyond delicious. The Holistic Kitchen, LLC was founded by Chef Nancy Banner in 2008. She is a native of Ithaca, NY, a graduate of the Scottsdale Culinary Institute and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel and Restaurant Administration from the University of Nevada at Las Vegas, with over 25 years working experience in the food and beverage industry. Her philosophy and meals have been featured at private Mind, Body, Spirit and Business retreats across the country. Chef Nancy is a proud member of the American Personal and Private Chefs Association and the National Association of Women Business Owners. She is also a certified Serv Safe Food Manager and subscribes to the Personal Chef International Code of Ethics. Website: www.TheHolisticKitchen.com |
