When your plants go to seed this year, consider saving the seeds for the next planting season. It will save you money and the environment. The trick in seed saving is starting out with seeds or plants that are heirloom or organic. Then watch your plants end of life cycle. Usually after flowering they will set seed. Pick them before the seed pods open, store them in the dark, dry place if a brown paper bag and the seeds will pop from the pod into the bag!
