To aid in the prevention of jetlag use essential oils on your flight.

Soak a handkerchief in water first and add 4-5 drops of lavender and/or geranium essential oils for relaxation. Store in a zip-loc bag and inhale frequently. It is pleasant to place the handkerchief on your forehead during rest. If the handkerchief dries out, just add more water.

Soak another handkerchief (and store in a separate zip-loc bag) with enlivening oils such as rosemary, bergamot or grapefruit oil to use upon arrival. Inhale while landing to prepare for disembarkation, luggage retrieval, money changing and transportation arrangements. It's important to have your wits about you during this transition.

If possible, upon arrival, take a long bath containing 8 to 10 drops of lavender or geranium or chamomile oil if it is bed time at your destination. If it is awake-time at your destination use 8 to 10 drops of rosemary or bergamot or grapefruit oil. This helps readjust physiological and psychological rhythms.
