I know how it goes. You just found the perfect pair of pants; the only thing is they're just a tad bit too long or too big in the waist or missing (ack!) a zipper. So, you put them back on the rack and keep up the hunt, right? Wrong! Baby, buy those pants because all they need is a bit of tailoring, something you can get done pretty darn inexpensively at your local ... tailors (hmm, imagine that).
The same goes for those pants and skirts that are a bit big because you've lost weight, your shoulder straps that constantly fall down, that shirt you'd actually wear if it was a bit more fitted around the waist ... All of these can easily be remedied by a quick, cheap visit to your local tailor.
Heck, a tailor would even turn your regular jeans into skinny jean leggings; which was a trick. I know you would never, ever, ever even think about doing that.
