The Boundaries Coach is here to help you bring balance and Me Time to your life! First we must understand the influence of the roles we play and how to create powerful boundaries that uplift and inspire our life so we don't burn out!


SIX KEYS TO BALANCED BOUNDARIES

  • Awareness: What roles do I play and to whom (be clear on them)

  • Belief: Belief in my abilities (be your own fan and build self esteem)

  • Choose: Make powerful choices (don't be on default)

  • Action: Having a powerful plan (work your plan girls!)

  • Support: Your team (your support system is crucial, gather them!)

  • Boundaries: Create powerful boundaries (be clear on when to say yes/no)

Boundaries are the things that hold it all together, so protect them! The key is to create boundaries and then stick to them. One of my favorite coaching tips is that you must honor your own boundaries FIRST, or no one else will. Meaning, if you say to your coworkers "I'm not going to stay at work late anymore I'm leaving at 6pm to be with my family", but then you don't honor that new promise/boundary, those coworkers will get on the bandwagon and ask you to do late night projects again, so don't blame them when they ask. YOU trained them that way. We train people how to treat us, so draw those lines and learn to say no and stick with it. If you are feeling taken advantage of, it's probably a boundaries problem. If you are feeling burnt out, it's probably a boundaries problem. If you are feeling too overwhelmed, it's probably a boundaries problem. Clean up those boundaries ladies and it will lead you to more peace and better balance!
