As you may have read in the May newsletter issue from Dena Patton, the founder of Chat, Chew & Chocolate, one of the most amazing women I have ever met passed away at the age of 37. Laura Anderson was one of the most fearless, passionate and intentional women entrepreneurs I had the honor of knowing.
As my heart was broken in sadness, I reflected on Laura's life and the way that she lived each day with passion and purpose. The sadness of her passing from the earth and now being with us only in spirit has propelled me to be present each and everyday.
As entrepreneurs, we take huge risks to pursue our passion and start and run our businesses. The energy and process of running a business is significant and often times overwhelming. We get lost in the questioning of what we should have done, the past and what should we do, the future, and lose the precious moments of the present and our journey as entrepreneurs.
Today, I ask each of you to stop and celebrate now, firstly for yourself and secondly in honor of an inspirational and amazing woman, Laura Anderson. The gift of this event was a wake up call for me. It not only inspired me to tell everyone in my life how much I love and appreciate them on a daily basis (and often times more than once) but gave me clarity again on what my purpose and passion is in business and life. I live to inspire and empower women entrepreneurs to catapult them forward faster in their business. The circular support of the experience that my programs create is both life transforming and gets results.
Thank you Laura for your gifts and for helping me propel back into presence to pursue and build the vision of Women Winning Worldwide. Your physical presence within the community will always be missed but your impact will continue to be felt through all of us in our hearts and actions for the rest of our lives.
