A mompreneur is a newly coined term for women who establish businesses at home while also acting as the full time parent of their children. The mompreneur movement is one steadily growing in the US as mothers try to find ways to make money, express their creativity or business acumen, and also to parent their children. Precise figures are difficult to find regarding exactly how many mompreneurs make up the current business world, but there are some statistics regarding the growth of home-based businesses.

You could say Tisha is one busy mom entrepreneur. In addition to her full-time passion, 2-yr old son Caleb, she is the owner of not one, not two, but five different business ventures; Simply Put Marketing, Details Event Management, ComF5, her book When the Universe Throws a Curve Ball - How a mom entrepreneur went from disappointment to living her passion, and The Mom-e Club, an organization that encourages, educates and supports mom entrepreneurs through monthly chapter meetings, mixers and webinars.
Showing mom entrepreneurs their value is something Tisha is extremely passionate about. In November 2009, she put her passion and event planning ability to good use by creating an event that would celebrate mom entrepreneurs for their amazing talent and dedication. Her first event, The Mom Entrepreneur Celebration featuring the Mom Entrepreneur of the Year Award, was an expo, cocktail reception and dinner award ceremony held on April 17, 2010 in Mesa. Tisha also debuted her book that same day.
Tisha's goal is to continue planning her event every year while continuing to support, encourage, and best of all learn from other mom entrepreneurs in her same shoes through the Mom-e Club. Her vision is to expand the Mom-e Club and host this and other events in various cities throughout the nation.
When she's not assisting clients with their next big project, or hosting a Mom-e Club event, Tisha is either catching up on sleep, boogying down at her Zumba class, or spending time with her husband Sean, Caleb and their boxer Diesel in their Gilbert, AZ home.
