After my four-year old went for her first style-change in a London hair salon, (she went short, short, short!) I caught her admiring herself in the full-length mirror. Grinning from ear to ear she said, "Look Mommy, I'm me with short hair and I'm me with long hair. I'm me in this tutu and I'm me in my Taekwondo suit. Then she kissed her reflection.
When you have that bubbly feeling when you are traveling---that feeling where you feel like you, but not you. You know that feeling? The liberated, I am so free and stress-free and nobody knows me here feeling. Well, don't think twice when you see a crazy dress that catches your eye. It's you. It's sooo you. Don't think twice about getting your hair braided on the beach or cutting it short in Paris or donning that fancy hat.
