Chat, Chew and Chocolate Chicago -
Collegiate (C5) Series
The C5 Series will include monthly events for collegiate women.
Balancing academics and co-curricular activities with other responsibilities can be a challenge.
It also puts us into the habit of becoming not just fabulous busy women, but overcommitted and stressed.
If you are a busy collegiate woman, here's a chance for you to have "me time".

The first meeting of C5 will take place on Saturday, August 21st at 1pm.
We will meet at Cafe Ballou on Western, near Chicago Ave. No boys allowed. Admission is free, chocolate is on the hostess.
Lunch will run about $10. Come meet other young ladies from your city and just have a blast. For more information, contact Chakira Hamilton.

Meet the C5 Party Hostesses Chakira Hamilton Chakira Hamilton, 20, is a sophomore Social Work major at Northeastern Illinois University where she acts as Business Manager for the University newspaper and leads several student groups. Send a message to her if you have ideas, suggestions, questions! Abigail Thompson Abigail Thompson is a young lady who has been through so much in her life and is always trying to find ways to help other young ladies going through the same or worst. She has voluntereed with many women organizations empowering other women.
Abigail has a radio show on Chicago State University Radio station entitled Classy Hood Radio where she teaches the Hood how to be Classy. Abigail has interned at one of the biggest Radio stations in Chicago WGCI 107.5 and became a college record rep for one of the largest record companies in the world Capitol records. She hopes that while being apart of Chat, Chew & Chocolate: Collegiate Chapter she can empower motivates and help women relax all while having a good time enjoying Chocolate. Why I decided to become a Chat, Chew and Chocolate Hostess Director I recently reached my fine and fabulous 40th birthday, and I'm excited about reaching this milestone and creating new and memorable experiences for myself and others.
As a single mother that works full-time outside of the home, I understand the importance of creating "me" time. Sometimes we become so consumed with our daily obligations that we forget to make time for ourselves and friends. It becomes difficult to help others when we forget to make time for ourselves. I want to provide additional options that help women take at least a little time for themselves.
